The Carpal Area (Palm Up)
The carpal tunnel is located at the bend of the wrist.
The base of the tunnel is composed of eight small bones, called carpal bones.
The bridge of the tunnel is a strong ligament with two names; the flexor retinaculum, or the transverse carpal ligament.
